Parking on Pavements

Dear Resident,

We have received complaints regarding vehicles being parked blocking the pavement outside the Bailey Arms pub. 

While we appreciate the road is narrow in that area, parking on the pavement can create significant hazards for pedestrians, particularly those with pushchairs, wheelchair users and anyone with visual impairments. In many cases it forces people into the road to get around the parked vehicles, putting them at unnecessary risk. 

Please be mindful of where you leave your vehicle and help us keep our community safe for all road users. Where necessary, obstructive and dangerous parking will be dealt with by the appropriate enforcement action.
